Body In Sound
2024 
Installation that investigates shifts in identity by using the body as a tool to access morphed memories of a specific geographical location from which the artist migrated from during childhood years. Interactive in nature, participants are encouraged to walk over a projected screen on the floor, accessing an array of sounds stemming from field recordings of a distant forest.

Being drawn to nature’s unpredictable, elegant textures and repelled by anything synthetic, it was surprising to learn that such complex structures can begin with simple rules - a theory that has been toyed with in mathematics and biology for many years

Places //  2 is a multi-media dance piece performed as part of Syntrex collective at various clubs in London, with live visuals, dance and music. Discovering a sense of place was the fundamental narrative and building block of the piece, stemming from migrant backgrounds within the collective. Conform is seeing every day as a distorted version of reality. Inspired by London's tall concrete blocks, gritty underground tunnels and wet terrain, you will find samples and reflections of this through sampled rain drops, home made glitch and hard hitting beats.

We Astronomers: Star Gaze

Immersive piece based on observations of our planetary orbit and its correlation with the paths we take as individual beings on this planet. With the aspiration to enhance with the viewers perception of their connection with the universe. Surround sound explores the planetary star data and sonifies this in time with the projected footage. Group exhibition as part of UAL x Guildhall x Barbican Centre collaboration.
